This week the intense competition starts on Afghan Star with one of our 12 final contestants eliminated by voters. This episode was dedicated to the Birthday of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) (Mawloode Sharif) and all the contestants performed religious duets.

First up were Shafi Shirzai and Ramin Popal, who performed a Ghazal song “Bot Khana Neshim Astm”, but their performance was criticized by Qais Ulfat the judge of the show. Next pair was Rashed Aria and Kawa Akbari, they performed a famous classic song “Wai Ann Dell”. The judges loved the pair's performance. 

Our third pair is Ziba Hamidi and Sahar Arian, the two women in this show who combined their Pop and Rap styles into a lively song that surprised both the judges and the audience. After, Habibullah Fani and Tawan Noori sang “Ba Murad Del” which could obtain some good comments of Qais Ulfat.

Ashkan Arab and Qasem Shahed sang a litany song “Delat Ra Khanai Ma Kon” and finally Jawed Samir and Mansoor Arian performed a Qawali song that could make the speechless.

After the duets, based on the audience’ votes Kawa Akbari, the guy who joined this show from Germany, was announced the eliminated contestant.
