This week the top 25 contestants compete for a spot in the round of 12, promising a show full of fierce competition and the best singing we've seen yet.

First up is Arash Barez, who last week was allowed last-minute by the judges to participate in the next round. He has mostly recovered from his illness, and the judges are very impressed by his performance. Nayeb Nayab is next, feeling very confident but also some butterflies before his performance. Ustad Shahla appreciates his mix of Western and Eastern techniques.

Haroon Anvari is competing in his fifth Afghan Star this year, and he desperately hopes not to be eliminated yet again in the round of 25. Sadly Latif Ataei, who qualified in the Internet round, was not able to make it to Kabul to compete, so he was replaced with Dawood Pajman, who wows the judges with his voice and skill on his instrument. Goldip Singh from Jalalabad delivers a less than stellar performance after successful performances twice before.

Anahita Olfat makes it to the round of 12, besting Manijeh to be the judges' choice. Joining Anahita in the round of 12 will be Dawood, Sohrab, Nayeb, Hosam, Khoshboo, Parzay, Javad, Harun A, Naviullah, Nazir, Harun P, and Arash. Get to know these 12 stars' names, you will be seeing them again soon!
