With the elimination rounds underway, we’ll have to say goodbye again to another one of our contestants. But, before that, we take a look at a friendly match between our potential Stars and the stars of the Afghan National Volleyball team. Not faring well on the court, our contestants tried their hand at winning over the referees with offers of singing their favorite songs – to no avail. The show opened with guest Fardin Fakher singing ‘Cheshman’.

Our first two contestants sang a duet. Naeb Nayab and Haroun Popalzai brought the audience to their feet with ‘Dokhtar-e-Kabul’ (which was composed by our host!).

Next up Anahita and Arash sang ‘Sarban’ composed by Jalil Zalanad. The judges noted that both singers had improved tremendously and made the most of the feedback they’ve been given. Rabiullah and Haroun Anwari brought a strong third act to the show with ‘Natanha Tooi’ by Farhad Darya. Khoshboo and Daoud teamed together for a stirring rendition of “Jigaram” and Daoud proved he can sing alongside a lady just as well as he does alongside the fellows. Nazir and Hessam closed out the program with a song by Ustad Hossein Arman. Then, we arrived at the inevitable moment – one of our stars was sent home. Who was it? Amar? Naeb? Khoshboo? You’ll have to tune in to see their final song.
