On Friday 14th March the Afghan Star Semi finals were held in Sramyasht Hall.Out of thousands of contestants auditioned from all around Afghanistan at the beginning of the season, only two are remaining and will compete with each other during the finals happening this Friday!
This episode was unfortunately marked by the absence of “Tahir Shubab” but was spiced by the presence of the Afghan music star, “Shafiq Mureed”. He got on stage with a song specially prepare to support the Afghan cricket team who made us the honor to be present this night. Shafiq Mureed declared that “the Afghan Star adventure is getting more and more exciting year after year.

The first contestant of the day was Rabiullah Behzad who came up with a remarkable interpretation of a light Ghazal, “Beraw Ke Sakht Wairanam” from the famous singer Farhad Darya. Qasem Rameshgar was really happy with Rabiullah’s performance which allowed him to obtain 30 marks from the judges.Nayeb Nayab followed Rabiullah on the Afghan Star stage. Nayed sang “Kheyal e Man-Yaqin e Man” from Farhad Darya and he was given the 29 marks.The second round of performances set the stage on fire this night.
